I have seen this species only at two sites. I first found this species and was able to take these photos on September 11, 2005 near Lake Emily County Park in Portage County. In 2008 I was able to find this species in Waushara County in Karner Blue habitat.
Notes: taxonomy unclear, best considered intergrades; Scattered across WI; clayey soils, open grasslands, hilltops; March to May, August to October.
