Obliqued-lined Tiger Beetle

I saw and photographed my first individual of this species on April 10, 2005 at Lake Emily County Park in Portage County. Since then in 2005, I saw this species in Marinette, Green Lake, and Sauk Counties. The bottom photo is an individual that capture a moth that I saw in Spring Green Preserve State Natural Area on September 17.

Notes: Throughout WI; sandy soils, often somewhat moist, forest clearings, etc.; March to June, August to October.
